With two and a half months to go, there is still much to do to complete the Red House’s renovation, but the project has progressed to the point where it’s beginning to be possible to imagine living there. As my sister-in-law says, “a girl can dream.”

Even though sometimes we feel overwhelmed by the magnitude of the work that must be done …

… we have faith in our contractor and crews that they will deliver.

Until then, we can only dream of watching TV in the sitting room or imagine a crackling fire in the Keeping Room. We are envisioning owning an electric mower for our fields, fields that have their own summer dreams of a blossoms and berries.
